1. You must be registered and have paid your $120.00 team entry fee (big bass included). You must check in prior to the first cast, which is at 6 am May 9. Check in at Cassels-Boykin Pavilion (4 a.m. - til).  You will be issued a boat number at check-in. 

 

2. 5 fish limit, 14 inch length minimum Large mouth and Kentucky spotted bass only.

 

3. This is a two person team tournament. 

 

4. This is a trailering tournament, but you must have your boat number on the peg board by

2:30 p.m. at the weigh in trailer at Cassels-Boykin Park.

 

5. WEIGH-IN PROCEDURES: 1/4 lb penalty for dead fish. 1 lb penalty for every minute you are late to weigh-in, up to 15 minutes. At that point your bag is disqualified. Teams will be weighed-in according to boat number (30 boats every 12 minutes). Early weigh-in will begin at 1:00 p.m. Contact tournament director for earlier check-in.

 

7. No dead water for this tournament and no off-limits. All waters accessible by boat on Sam Rayburn are permitted. You may not bring fish from another lake or river system. 

 

8. SAFETY: Safe boating conduct must be observed at all times. Each competitor is required to wear a Coast Guard approved life vest, securely fastened while on plane (may idle without them). You must have a working kill switch fastened to the driver anytime the boat is on plane (may idle without it). Running lights must be operational and turned on according to state boating regulations.

 

9.SPORTSMANSHIP: Each contestant is expected to follow high standards of sportsmanship, courtesy, and conservation. No team may fish within 50 yards of any other boat which is anchored with the trolling motor up, furthermore no team may fish within 25 yards of any other boat without the other boaters permission.  Permission may not be granted to any team at a the exclusion of any other team. No hole sitting by a non-competitor or by another competitor, to aid a tournament participant will be allowed. Violators will have their catch disqualified.

 

10. STATE AND FEDERAL GAME REGULATIONS:  All participants are required to abide by all state and federal laws and game regulations.  Any participant who consumes or is under the influence of alcoholic beverages, stimulants or depressants during tournament will be disqualified. Prescribed medications taken per doctors instructions are excluded.

 

11.PROTEST AND POLYGRAPH TEST: Fishin’ For Missions tournament director reserves the right to give a polygraph test to any participant at any time.  This test does not have to be administered on site and may be set up by the Tournament Director at his discretion.  All participants agree to abide by the results of any polygraph test administered.

 

12. The tournament director has the right to disqualify any team that has extreme misconduct.  Any accusations of cheating must be brought to the director prior to weigh-in completion.
